Attorney Receives Accolades for Pro Bono Bankruptcy Case Handling
In commemoration of National Pro Bono Week (October 22-28), Lone Star Legal Aid honors Ryan J. Dove with the 2017 Conroe Branch Office Most Pro Bono Bankruptcy Cases Handled Award for his work within the Southern District.
Lone Star Legal Aid Pro Bono awards recognize attorneys, law firms and community partners who donate their time and legal expertise to ensure that all East Texas residents have equal access to the courts. Mr. Dove will be formally recognized on November 1, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. in the Courtroom of the Honorable Jeff Bohm, United States Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Texas at the Bob Casey Federal Courthouse at 515 Rusk Street, Houston, Texas.

Ryan J. Dove
Founder of the Dove Law Firm, Ryan Dove has practiced law in Texas since his admission to the Bar in 2008. He concentrates his practice on Chapter 7 and 13 bankruptcies. Dove has a long standing social commitment to provide access to justice through providing pro bono services and has selflessly donated his time and expertise with Lone Star Legal Aid’s Pro Bono Program for the past seven years to provide legal help to low-income individuals who are unable to pay for an attorney. Dove not only assists pro bono clients with Chapter 7’s but has also taught a Nuts and Bolts Bankruptcy class in the past to Lone Star Legal Aid volunteers. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Houston Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys, as well as the State Bar of Texas Bankruptcy Section. In 2015 he was the recipient of the Leader Newspapers Reader’s Choice Award and the AVVO.com Client’s Choice Award. Lone Star Legal Aid salutes his deep personal commitment to pro bono service and his legacy to helping to protect some of East Texas’ most vulnerable residents.
